AIK
Alexander Isak made his first-team debut for AIK on 28 February 2016, entering as a 75th-minute substitute in a Swedish Cup match against fourth-tier side Tenhults IF. At just 16 years old, he marked the occasion with a goal in a commanding 6–0 victory.
On 7 April 2016, Isak earned his first start in the Allsvenskan under head coach Andreas Alm, partnering with fellow young striker Carlos Strandberg in an away match against Östersunds FK. He sealed AIK’s 2–0 win by scoring the second goal, becoming the youngest player in the club’s history to score in the league at 16 years and 199 days.
Later that month, on 25 April, Isak netted his first goal at AIK’s home ground, Friends Arena, with a crucial opener in a 2–1 win over IF Elfsborg.
