Omar Khaled Mohamed Abdel Salam Marmoush (born 7 February 1999) is a professional footballer from Egypt who plays as a forward for the Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt and the Egypt national team.

Omar Marmoush club career

Wadi Degla

Omar Marmoush began his professional football career with Wadi Degla in the Egyptian Premier League. He made his debut on 8 July 2016 as a substitute in a 3–2 victory against Al Ittihad Alexandria Club. Over his time with Wadi Degla, Marmoush made 16 league appearances and scored two goals before transferring to VfL Wolfsburg II in 2017.

VfL Wolfsburg

Marmoush made his Bundesliga debut for VfL Wolfsburg on 26 May 2020 in a 4–1 victory over Bayer Leverkusen at the BayArena. Shortly after, on 23 June, he signed his first professional contract with the club. He made his European debut on 5 August 2020 in a 3–0 loss (5–1 aggregate) to Shakhtar Donetsk in the UEFA Europa League round of 16.

Returning to Wolfsburg following a successful loan at VfB Stuttgart, Marmoush was assigned the number 33 shirt. He scored his first goal for the club on 30 July 2022, securing a 1–0 victory against Carl Zeiss Jena in the first round of the DFB-Pokal. 2023–24 Season

Marmoush hit the ground running, scoring his first goal for Frankfurt in a 7–0 victory over 1. FC Lokomotive Leipzig in the DFB-Pokal on 13 August 2023. He netted his first Bundesliga goal for the club on 27 August in a 1–1 draw against Mainz and scored his maiden European goal from the penalty spot in a 2–1 win over Aberdeen during the Europa Conference League group stage on 21 September.

The 2023–24 season proved to be a breakout year for Marmoush, as he tallied 16 goals in 37 appearances across all competitions. Highlights included a brace in a thrilling 3–3 draw with Borussia Dortmund and a goal in a commanding 5–1 win against Bayern Munich. His 12 goals in the Bundesliga made him the third-highest African scorer in the league for the season.

International Career

Marmoush made his senior debut for Egypt on 8 October 2021, scoring the only goal in a 1–0 World Cup qualifying win against Libya.
